Gaggia’s Anima is a completely Italian manufactured super-automatic machine made for the home coffee addict. The bean-to-cup machine is kitted with backlit buttons that are well suited to its perfected design.

The Anima boasts one-touch speciality espresso capability, paired with manual steaming to froth your milk for you via the Pannarello steam wand. The Anima’s espresso spouts are high enough to brew into a travel mug. Brews are customizable, with the facility of adjusting grind, coffee strength and even coffee temperature settings. The innovative Gaggia Adapting System learns how fast to spin those ceramic burrs and how hard to tamp for the first fifteen brews for revolutionary results in your cup. Another important upgrade is the programmable pre-infusion, which pre-soaks the ground coffee, ensure the coffee is all fully saturated prior to extraction, resulting in maximum performance espresso extractions.

The Anima utilizes a patented Pannarello Steam Wand which automatically adds air to your milk through a pinhole at the top of the wand. This makes frothing up cappuccino milk easy for beginners, and latte milk can be steamed, with a little practice, by submerging the pinhole when the desired amount of air has been folded in.

The Anima is as easy to maintain as it is to use, with maintenance alert indicators, automated descaling cycles, and Gaggia’s legendary removable brew group, which can be easily removed and rinsed under tap by hand. Additionally, you can install a Mavea Intenza water filter in the Anima’s 1.8 L water reservoir to preserve your coffee’s taste and the machine’s longevity even more.
