Bialetti Moka Express

Enjoy rich, espresso-style coffee at home with the iconic Bialetti Moka Express. Simply fill the bottom with water, add ground coffee to the filter basket, screw on the top, and heat on your stove. In minutes, you’ll have a delicious coffee.

Important Note

Made of aluminium, it won’t work on modern induction stoves. For induction-ready options, see the stainless steel Bialetti Venus.

Size Guide

  • 1 person – 1/2/3 cup
  • 2 people – 4/6 cup
  • 3 people – 6/9 cup
  • 4 people – 9/12 cup
  • 5+ people – 12/18 cup

Each cup is ~30ml. Fill completely for best results.

How to Use

  1. Grind coffee medium-fine (slightly coarser than espresso).
  2. Fill bottom chamber with water up to the valve.
  3. Add coffee to filter basket – do not tamp.
  4. Assemble pot and place on medium heat.
  5. Remove from heat once coffee turns light or gurgling starts.
  6. Pour immediately and enjoy.

Care

Allow to cool, rinse, wipe, and dry thoroughly. Avoid dishwasher and abrasives. Occasional gentle soap is fine. Always dry completely before reassembling.
